Insurance does not extend to any activities conducted outside the vehicle, including but not limited to: walking through the Chacchoben archaeological site, activities at the ruins, or any other excursion segment performed on foot or involving third-party equipment. By completing a booking, passengers acknowledge and accept these terms.

Where exactly do we meet? ▼
Your van will meet your group outside the Costa Maya cruise terminal in Mahahual, on the street-side exit of the port entrance. Do not wait inside the port. After booking, you'll receive exact meeting point details in your confirmation email.
What if our ship is delayed or arrives late? ▼
We monitor ship schedules. If your ship is delayed, contact us as soon as possible at booking@costamayariders.com. We will do our best to accommodate delays, but we cannot guarantee the tour if the delay significantly reduces available time before your all-aboard.
Is the tour entirely private — no strangers? ▼
Yes. Your tour is 100% private. Your group and only your group travels in the van and with the guide. We never combine separate bookings into a shared tour.
What is the cancellation policy? ▼
Cancel at least 144 hours (6 full days) before your tour date for a full refund, automatically processed to your original payment method. Cancellations received less than 144 hours before the tour are non-refundable. You can manage your booking at any time using the link in your confirmation email.
What should we bring? ▼
Comfortable walking shoes (the ruins involve uneven terrain), light clothing, sunscreen, insect repellent, and your booking confirmation. Beverages and snacks are included. Bring cash tips if you'd like to recognize your guide.
Is this accessible for guests with limited mobility? ▼
Chacchoben involves walking on uneven jungle paths. The site is partially accessible, but climbing the main pyramids requires physical effort. Please contact us before booking if you have specific mobility concerns.
